I believe the key to ANY hope of a black economic and political force, and any hope of real freedom is to focus on single black mothers and children.

Because most adults are already lost. Two parent homes usually are better -----but with our current reality - We really need to support black women.. and their children.

Why do the women have to be single though.

Focusing on the married ones and shaming the ones who pop kids out of wedlock should be the goal.
In Asian cultures if a woman has a kid out of wedlock she can't even show her face in public to her family.

in America the only way to provide a stable home for a kid is with 2 working parents. One income is never going to cut it in 2014/2015

I agree that's important... but there are other things needed... like culture and mentality and unity.


supporting black mothers - who have the influence over children fixes generations....
most adults are already lost.

disagree , theirs a lack of comradarity between black men ie not doing events or activity that involve a group of people that involves a purpose/agenda , stuff like marching , rap music or music in general since blacks created rock and such or complaining about discrimination don't count as unity . the focus on black mothers and children is pointless when if these children leave their house , their is no infrastructure, events , groups , societies or competition out there

Empowered black men become better leaders, better fathers and overall better for society. Single mothers have enough resources available to them. Why should a black man that caught a felony for a crime that he was probably over penalized for in the first place not be able to get a decent job DECADES after he has served his time? What is he supposed to do in the mean time to support himself and his children? Why shouldn't he be able to get a job, pay reduced rent, get help with food and assistance with basic necessities in life like a single mother does? He has less opportunities than the woman does.

And of course men right now have less resources... but why can't we focus on prevention rather than reaction.

Im just gonna say... men usually can figure out a way if they are gonna make it.

We lessen their chances by not giving reall support to mothers, ...
