The main reason Trump surprised people in this election is because he had so many more supporters that, for various reasons, never publicly voiced their intention to vote for him, than the ones that DID voice their intent. The media fukked up HARD with their predictions as a result of that.
This shyt is more complicated than you all are making it seem. Of course there are cacs who are racist lowkey/in secret that supported him.....but CLEARLY there are a lot of open racists that publicly supported him as well. And then you have to factor in the people who went to the booth and voted for him as a way to go against Hillary/liberals/feminists, not to back Trump in any way (same thing was done with 3rd party candidates but mostly for him). The fact that more than half of white female voters voted for Trump instead of Hillary, told me everything I needed to know. Also, that bullshyt that Hillary/the Dems did to Bernie had a very, VERY underrated effect on a large amount of voters
Some Trump voters aren't showing their faces due to the OP's point.....other aren't showing their faces because they don't care to show up for what they see as the lesser of two evils. They kept the old corrupt bytch from becoming president; their work is done, and now it's fukk Donald Trump too
