That’s not what he’s saying.

He’s saying she represents the casual viewer.

The casual viewer who switched off after Joel was killed.

:salute:thank u

Grace is there target audience
she is a woman who’s pro female and pro LBTG community

add the fact that the second game is basically revolves around four individuals, a lesbian on revenge with her bisexual pregnant partner versus a heterosexual top ranking militant female with her transgender newly friend

This was a good episode but the best episode of the season is still episode 2. That was peak prestige television up there with some of the best 'Game of Thrones' episodes.

I hope HBO (that phaggot Zaslov) learns something from this, and allocates more episodes to things like this. It was aight, but not anywhere near its potential.

Even with different writers/showrunners/actors/etc the story would have never been able to stretch its legs with the minimal amount of episodes it’s got.

Will probably give it one more watch then run back through the second game after this semester is over.

The writing of Ellie's character was trash in season 2.

However, I still feel that they should've cast a new actor to play season 2 Ellie. Not only does Bella Ramsey look like she's 15 (despite being in her early 20s) but she is a little too short at 5' 1'' (Game 2 Ellie is 5' 5'').

They should've cast a 5' 4'' to 5' 6'' actress and one that actually looks around the age of 19/20

Yea, the pacing and execution of the season finale was pretty bad. Earlier in this thread, i thought we'd get the Abbey switch an ep or 2 earlier and the season would end with Tommy going John Wick on Abbey's crew. They kinda fumbled the "both sides" angle by jumping to that season finale climax before we got to see the build up from Abbey's side.

But what's most disappointing is that in these last two eps they failed to make the protagonist (Ellie) even remotely likable; some of it a consequence of them expediting certain events but others (like snitching on Joel to the widow) could've been avoided. Hell, they basically made Jesse a more interesting, compassionate and better protagonist in 1/3rd the time (mostly at Ellie's expense), and then youknowwhat happened.
