I will always fully agree that today's athletes are a cut above simply due to knowledge, fitness, nutrition etc

But those brehs that disregard legends of the past like they're the equivalent of today's junior high athletes is infuriating. I'm gonna take this down the hockey road for a minute there's a vid on youtube of hockey highlights from the 1930s and in it there's a nikka (or corny old cac in reality ) literally turning back up ice on afukkING DIME. Legit the dude is skating toward the opponents net at full speed and then the puck gets turned over back up ice and he just cuts the fukk out of the ice and turns back in pursuit in a split second unreal man
