I think its a good idea, but its not alot of traffic.

Why don't just have a single thread about any genre in the Reelness thread. Like all the Trip/Hop, Rock, Dubstep, or R&B stuff can go to their designated thread.

I think we should give it time. Granted the site itself seems to be capping out at 1,600 at most times (forgive me if I'm wrong) the potential is there for this message board as a whole including the left field subforum to grow as well,
