Studies have shown that Black girls, women, and non-binary people are hyper-vulnerable to abuse. About 22 percent of Black women in the United States have experienced rape. Forty percent will experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime. And Black women are killed at a higher rate than any other group of women.

When abuse occurs, they are less likely to be believed and supported. A report published by Georgetown Law Center found that “adults view Black girls as less innocent and more adult-like than their white peers.” Black girls are perceived to be more independent, more knowledgeable about sex, and in less need of protection.

The same perception follows them into adulthood. A juror from Kelly’s 2008 child pornography trial, where Kelly was acquitted, said that he did not believe testimony from Black women because of how they dressed and “the way they act.”

In his defense the thread title said black girls then flat out woman in general.

White woman aren't being failed by the system in any way shape or form.

And black men are the most preyed on group by and large than any other group when it comes to the justice system. So it makes no sense for the author to group black women with "all women" before grouping them with "all black folks"

i see no reason to make a gender distinction on this issue. The racial aspect is the main concern

Because there’s no need acting like the justice system in this country has failed one segment of Black people more than any other. That’s the game white folk are pushing and non-thinkers like you just blindly follow em up on that, helping to create more division.
