Most likely teen Link, in the style of How to Train Your Dragon 1. They’d have to make it more “all-ages” rather than mario which felt targeted toward kids. I dont think the legend of zelda works as a straight up childrens movie.

This is what i would go for. Star Fox is incredibly underutilized at Nintendo. They basically have anthropomorphic Star Wars on their hands with it.

Make it look like a combination of Zootopia and Guardians of The Galaxy
