Nah. You can literally hear rap music evolve upwards from the seventies through the nineties where you have what's been termed 'super mc's'. Nowadays music has literally gone downhill beyond how cats in the seventies were rapping. Hell, at least they were actually speaking like humans and you knew what they were saying. These new dudes is getting props for the way they hum using auto tune.
There is a generational gap element to this argument but it isn't solely based on that. How can anyone who mumbles even be considered a rapper or emcee and why the hell is it wrong to say it's trash? It's the continued dumbing down of society to keep people enslaved, nothing more or less. Aint no such thing as a woke mumble rapper.
