Not sure if serious. Anybody without a maxed out credit card can acquire consumer goods and just make monthly minimum payments. Most of them are priced low enough to be easily acquired. Ive had every mainstream game console since the PS2 released and in that span there were times I was dead broke.
Broke people place a high value on consumer goods cause they can't buy businesses and investment properties.
