To be honest, their AEW runs made it clear as day that Punk was the bigger star and draw. Any grey area someone could've tried to give to Dragon was quickly erased by the difference Punk made while he was there and wasn't a malcontent (which granted, it wasn't long, but it was pretty damn impactful).

The Danielson argument is a subjective one that leans on "who is the better performer", and that's just gonna be an endless argument between two sides that aren't gonna budge on the matter.
