The Lonely Island on Sway: Talks Getting RZA & J Dilla Beats, Making Pop Star Mockumentary

Always funny and incredibly entertaining, the Lonely Island joined Sway in the Morning recently to speak on their upcoming mockumentary "Pop Star: Never Stop, Never Stopping."

Speaking on watching music documentaries like Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never" and One Direction's "This Is Us" they elaborate on using music as a joke and not to be mean spirited.

Although they use beats by real, hit making producers, the crew speaks on being sent beats by RZA and J Dilla but deciding not to use them because they didn't think their joking style of music was suitable for legends of that stature.

Curious on what beats were sent, glad they didn't use'em though, I suppose.
