I drove for a week with no brakes.

I've done that. I've also driven for miles with the gas light on and have had to walk to gas stations to get my gas tank filled up from a seperate gas container.
I love cars andhate them at the same time. I just can't get with the car thing anymore now. I hated it. It was more trouble than it was convient.

Srly, I need to stop driving past 75% of my tank. I've driven to the grocery store & had my car die on me almost in the middle of the road and then have to walk five miles to the crib for a gas can (they wouldn't let me use a pitcher to pour gas in [ I understand tho])

I drove my car for two years with out functioning blinkers. 
I'd be driving, cop gets behind my car. I'd have stay in the same lane for god knows how long until the cop turned or changed lanes. Never got pulled over for it tho. I was good.
