The lost Jay-Z album

Does anyone remeber this or know the full story? This was supposed to be the album after BP1 with a lot of soul sounding stuff but like 5 songs leaked and jay ended up scrapping it. I always wondered what happened it sounded like it could have been dope.

Those tracks were left over track from The Blueprint. They did not leak until AFTER The Blueprint dropped.

I guess it didnt fit to cohesiveness of the album or it could be that I once heard that Hov like to keep his albums 12-14 tracks.
