Since the original thread we had got a bit sidetracked, I decided to make a new one. For those of you who are new to the discussion, here is the gist. Each week somebody will choose an album that we will discuss for that week. If you can provide a Youtube or Spotify link to the entire album, that would be ideal so people don't have to go searching for it. I'd say it's preferable that you choose an album that you think most people haven't heard, that way it provides an opportunity for everyone to discover something new.

Below is the tentative schedule. Basically I just went in the order of who posted in the original thread. If you've already posted an album, I put you at the bottom so others have a chance to choose an album. We'll start on Sunday (6/15) and then move onto a new album the following Sunday. I'll try to remember to send out a reminder a day in advance to the next person in line. When it's your turn, you'll have a day to post your album. If Monday comes along and you haven't posted your album yet, we'll move to the next person to keep the discussion going. Hopefully this will keep the thread more active. Keep in mind, these are only tentative dates for your turn. If someone ends up getting skipped, then we'll move to the next person on the schedule. I included the weeks that we've already done. If anyone else wants in, just let me know and I'll add you to the schedule.

Week 1 (2/2-2/8): Bloc Party - Silent Alarm (Indie Rock)
Week 2 (2/9-2/15): Bob Dylan - John Wesley Harding (Folk Rock)

Ok, lemme know if I should choose again, the first album I wanted to post isn't on Spotify and I didn't know if people felt like having to DL the albums we discuss. This one people may have heard, but I'm a big fan of 80's music, and Loose Ends and SOS band are so heavily sample in hip hop, I feel you gotta give them a real spin.

Loose Ends - Zagora (it's on Spotify)

Gave the album a spin. What's funny is I used to think 80's music was horrible when I was younger. But I've grown to like it more and more the older I get. This album doesn't really scream 80's though. Some of the tracks have more of an early 90's feel to them. The whole album is smooth. You can't help but be in a good mood while listening to it.

Of their albums I like the one after two of the members left best. Something about the woman's pitch on most of the cuts seems off for her to have so many leads. This is one of those cute albums though for cleaning up, background music or something.
