NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
This is dope but I gotta give props to puff if he polished this into the Lox we got. They woulda been another cutthroats, brainsick mob, live squad, YG'z etc.
I can’t give him credit for that. That was basically natural progression of styles and the era. 93 was whole different world in hip hop stylistically than 96.

I don't know, look what he did with biggie and mase. I'm not the biggest puff fan, but I can't deny he took some hardcore underground acts and turned them into marketable household names while still maintaining their street credibility.

Man I had a crazy ass LOX mixtape about 13 years ago I ran across randomly online. It had every progression of the lox, first portion was when they was bomb squad/ warlocks, then the lox, then d block. With rare ass tracks and freestyles and shyt I can’t even find on YouTube. I let my brother hold it and he left it in his car and shyt ended up getting sun spots all through it. It was damn near 9 or 10 disc just filled with piff. :mjcry:

I still get mad at him from time to time when I do come across something on YouTube that I remembered from the mix lol. :pacspit:
