if LeBron was leading an undermanned crew over the Popovich/Duncan Spurs, I'd agree with the narrative that this is the GOAT accomplishment by a superstar in the NBA finals. if he was beating the big 3 Celtics with this crew, I'd agree this is the GOAT accomplishment. but this warriors team HASN'T PROVEN ANYTHING. they just had a good regular season. we saw the 2007 Mavs win 67 games and get beat in the 1st round by the 8th seed Warriors. we saw Dirk in 2011 lead a team with no other all-stars over the big 3 Heatles with LeBron James.

Even if Cleveland pulls this out, I'd still take Dirk beating the 2011 Heat as a more impressive performance by a superstar in the finals overcoming long odds. LeBron James beating Steph Curry and Klay Thompson by himself is really not as amazing as Dirk beating LeBron, Wade, and Bosh by himself. .
