See there's a art to this shyt you young boys. The things that separate cats like Wayne and Future from all these other mumbling auto tune idiots is that there is soul and pain in their music. There is character in the tune's.

You could hear Wayne's mind state back in the day when he was releasing tracks, you heard the hunger, the pain, the addicition. The same for Future, you felt Future's emotions on those mixtapes. You knew exactly what he was going thru, the break up, the flop, the fear of Thug and Quan surpassing him etc.

Thug on the other hand.......is void. Its been 3 years since he has splashed on the scene and we still dont no nothing about him. His hopes, his fears, his dreams, his goals.......NOTHING.

Dude just gets high and goes crazy on the mic.

To me young thug is a genius level talent, but the lack of emotions in his music is the real thing that is holding him back. It prevents him from penertating to the listeners ethos, which in turn prevents him from forming a solid fanbase that is emotionally connected to dude and will support and ride with him. Which is something all the other greats of these times possess.
