Unfortunately, Black people have to work twice is hard to get half, however, half is quadruple than most have now. Asians and Indians peeped game that they have to outperform the Anglo to get ahead. This country was built in a way that the average, nonaspring Anglo can do well. It sucks. I know. We know but we have to instill this in ourselves and more importantly, our youth. We all see black children not being raised right for the future that's ahead of them.

Let's discuss ways we can excel and be undeniable and not give these people steady ammunition to justify their continued undermining prejudices for Black people.

Start by getting your certs up then investing that money in hairline research. If we all do our part, in 30-40 years we can find a cure and finally end hairline supremacy :wow:
It seems funny to some but I'd rather some brothers gain wealth from it than other people.

I'm an example. I did horrible on the LSAT and am going to a not so good law school but I know I will have to work harder than anyone to be on top. Meaning if others are studying 4 hours a day after classes, 6 is minimum for me. Our children are out having too much fun. A sucky childhood is better than a sucky adulthood.

You mention that "blacks have to work twice as hard to get half as much" and as a black man I agree wholeheartedly. I have to "prove" myself in my managerial role much more than others here. I get less slack, more scrutiny, harsher looks, more questions etc. etc.

But your example is that you did horrible on the LSAT :jbhmm: how does that play into the idea that we have to work twice as hard? You are admitting that you aren't doing well and the LSAT isn't a slanted test. You either do well or you don't right?

I get that if there is a white lawyer and a black lawyer with the exact same test score, the issue is that "they" will choose the white lawyer over the black lawyer, but in your example it sounds like you are admitting that you aren't YET quite where you need to be.

Am I missing something? I'm not trying to be rude at all (I know it's the coli) but I don't get this example with the theme you started in the first post.

I have to work twice as hard in my circumstances. In any circumstance, we have to work harder. I just gave my current situation. Every Black person isn't going to a T14 or a top 50 law school. I'll try to transfer when I do my part.

I was referring to graduating class.

I get that 100%. I guess the LSAT mention caught me off guard. That is something that is directly within your control (no biases...the score speaks for itself).

Either way it's true. That is why we have to do our very best in the measurable factors (grades, test scores, attendance, background, etc.) because we are already at a deficit in the immeasurable ones (name, "look", race, gender etc)

even when you exceptional you still get passed over, especially on college programs where you have to be selected to get in, and even if you do get hired, unless you act like them your going to be out of there in no time, or at least be a target.

Exactly. I know wherever I went and where I am going, it's top five (percent) or die. We need to be that across the board.

It wasn't about the pay itself. He had to become a fukking superstar to get into that neighborhood versus his neighborhood being some anonymous dentist.
