Really disappointed in Jimmy ever since Steph went down. Never expected him to perform miracles, but he was just far too passive in every game since then.
And the super max for two more years. Good luck. At least you gave him his joy. :ehh:

Annoying to watch.
Fr.

But we've got to put it into perspective that he was always signed to be a sidekick to Steph, in which he looked great in that role and they did their thing against the Rockets (tag-team killing them off down the stretch of a Game 7). The signing was a success, because it gave them a fighting chance and the two of them played well together whenever they shared the floor. Jimmy fit in with the system, effortlessly; GS had one of the best records and net-ratings after they traded for him.

It was just unfortunate with how things eventuated.

It's not like signing any other player in his place would've ultimately changed anything. Steph wasn't coming back anytime soon.

That was always my biggest gripe with Jimmy on the heat. For every game he blacked out, he'd have a game where it seemed like he'd rather be motorboating Rachel Nichols ass cheeks.

Dude just doesn't have that elite level dog in him. Being able to go to that dark place requires a lot of mental stress. Most players don't have the mental strength to go to that place every single night. Only the very elite. Jimmy can go there occasionally, but mainly when the odds are stacked in his favor. He's kind of a front runner if we keep it real.

Guys like MJ. Wade. Kobe. They didn't care how big of a challenge it was. They were gonna give you everything they had every single night.

That tail bone injury being oversold. Go back and watch that Golden State vs Heat game, he looked identical to what he was in this series. Them boys just had him clamped since they didn't have to worry about Steph running around.

Disappointing but not surprising. During his runs in Miami he would take a step back... randomly when his team needed him to score and be aggressive. He's been pretty vocal about being Robin and on Steph's nuts since he got there. Feels like he did all that to cast out a safety net for himself if he didn't deliver.

He's supposed to be like Jaylen Brown last night without "Batman". Jimmy be out there kicking out on scoring opportunities to Draymond Green and shyt. :smh:

Also, now that the Honeymoon is over, how much yal want to bet next regular season bruh starts chilling again like he did in Miami. Watch.
