Q: How does Forza Horizon 5 perform on Xbox Series X|S?
A: On Xbox Series X Forza Horizon 5 will feature 4K resolution at 30fps, on Xbox Series S Forza Horizon 5 will play at 1080p resolution at 30fps. Both platforms will feature a performance mode that runs at 60fps.

@The Mad Titan Is this what I should expect from Microsoft exclusives with 12 teraflops of powah ?

Shouldn’t a racing game be 60 FPS …. Given it’s a response based game ….

Who knows what Forza really looks like in that dreadful performance mode …

Figured as much. People let their imagination run wild from all that "12 tflops" hype. These systems are powerful, but not so powerful they'll be able to run such visuals at native 4k+60fps+rt.

Yeah it just seems like this generation isn't gonna get us to real 4K with ray tracing. They advertise all these features but the reality is you gotta pick and choose which you get. I remember the days you didn't have to adjust settings on a console game.

Yeah thats why all the boasting and bragging about which console is more powerful is dumb. It’s never been about numbers, they are always incremental. It’s about the talent of the developers to be able to push what the platform can do like ND did with the ps4.

Most people don't understand how much a PC that could play 4k 60fps with ray-tracing would actually cost. Most PC gamers don't even have a rig that could handle all that.

1440p is not bad at all and should be the standard going forward on consoles.

Yeah my 9900k and 2080ti is struggle status for ray tracing. Performance takes a significant hit to achieve that.
