I always felt bad for Milli Vanilli because they did all the work minus the singing and they wanted to do that too. That said Frank Farian and all those producers had reason to do what they did in terms of having lipsyncing because they know how vapid and cruel this world is. Talent is talent. Just because the real singers were middle aged doesn’t take away from the fact that the song was huge, but Frank knew fans would lame out.

My cousin still has the cassette to Girl You Know It’s True. She’s Milli Vanilli hive to this day.

Dude was (still is) immensely talented, but he ran his mouth too much just coming out the gate, especially gunning for MJ. First album is classic, the second is one of the few I've ever thrown away.
