The definition of a treadmill team
  • Wouldn't give up Monta Ellis for Josh Smith:beli: :skip:
  • Traded for J.J Redikk just to lock up the honor of getting swept by the Heat ..Redikk will be a free agent at the end of the year:beli:
  • One of the players they gave up for Redikk is 20 year old Tobias Harris..Never got PT in Mil,has beasted so far for Orlando:beli:
  • Attendance is :trash: even though they're a playoff team.
  • WOAT uniforms
  • Their future is in the hands of Brandon Jennings :scusthov:
Stern should throw that franchise in the bushes.Don't see how Bucks fans can tolerate that team.

why would they trade monta ellis for josh smith though... josh smith is the definition of a nameless star... hes literally the least known player who puts up top level numbers on a consistent basis...

unless he goes somewhere like LA where he'll be a tertiary player this year is the most well ever hear the name josh smith for the rest of his life

Because there is absolutely no reason to trade for J.J Redikk if you're gonna keep Monta Ellis.

why get mad at the Bucks? They're literally following the same formula that everyone praises Daryl Morey for.

Houston stockpiled young talent to get Harden.Milwaukee did it to rent J.J Redikk. That's a huge difference .Milwaukee doesn't have young talent to build around.Larry Sanders is a nice defensive player but he isn't anything special (I'm not a Jennings fan at all).

No they not. I suppose you taling about the lack of tanking but its deeper than that. Every team who hasnt tanked isnt following Morey. Coli heads still slow to Morey's thought process. Morey wouldnt have traded a young stud piece ion Harris for a player like Reddikk. Thats not a Morey move. What Orlando did is a Morey move. Milwaukee is what teh threadstarter said in the title.

Orlando is stacking up the young talent: Harkless, Vucevic, Nicholson, Harris, Moore. Not saying they'll be a powerhouse down the road, but could build off of a few of these guys & the solid picks they'll have in the next 2 years while they clear cap room.

Been stuck in mediocrity for years and the one playoff run honestly wasnt enough. Jennings is leaving next year so we need to just blow up the roster and do a real rebuild

Bucks have cap space? Bucks have a top 10 player in the league breh? :leostare:

What were the Rockets doing before they pounced on Harden? The same shyt.

Overpay meh to mediocre players? Check.

Hire average coaches? Check.

Refuse to tank even if it benefits them to do so? Check.

Stockpile at certain positions hoping to pawn them off later? Check.

The only difference between the two was that Houston's big trade acquisition: James Harden. Milwaukee's big trade acquisition: Monta Ellis.

It should surprise no one that they're doing the same things and getting the same results (both 8th seeds). shyt, they both have the same amount of L's. They're two teams that refuse to do what shyttier teams do, but do just enough to be competitive without being that threatening to the overall contender picture. They're the type of the team Stern wishes half these other teams would be comfortable just being. They play their position.
