Or better yet the black business initiative. I will say this initiative could start with black owned businesses and later move to women owned and minority owned.
Simply put the idea (not a new one) is to proactively support black owned businesses, in the most convenient way possible. Since my people can be reactive and want to sing "we shall overcome" narratives and say what we should do when bad shyt happens, let us the younger generation be proactive and actually do something good.
Maybe this thread dies, but if it survives I would like it to be a place where we can list these businesses, our experiences and ways to make this more convenient. I searched online for a few directories and the link above is one such find. For the most part it sucks. It would be nice to be able to just put your zipcode and get a listing of nearby businesses. An idea I would like to see happen is an app for this, similar to yelp
