Jonas was killing it so far this season and has always created matchup problems for the GSW.

breh this team is too good. they have so many options on the offensive end.
Except that our main options aren’t good enough to be main options as evidenced by crunch time last night. The problem with this team, as it always has been, is that our top two players can’t manufacture buckets consistently in crunch time. This is why we can’t beat the really good teams. It happens time and time again.

Also, I think from what we have seen so far that Casey has done a really good job this year getting the team ready for the season. They look like they’re in better shape than they’ve ever been. At this point, we just have roster issues. We need a real #1 scorer and a couple more shooters. I also think CJ Miles should start and Powell should move to the bench.

At the top.
The one good takeaway from last night was how well Siakam and Poeltl played. DeRozan just kept forcing a bunch of shyt and Lowry starting off the season like trash : scust:

Lowry looks lost when he’s not given free reign to iso all the time (even though he’s back to being skinny).

Derozan is who he is and plays well until crunch time like always. However, he and the rest of the team can’t forget what has made them better this year and that is ball movement early in the shot clock. Even in crunch time you gotta keep your philosophy. We don’t have anyone good enough to win by playing hero ball.

Poetl played his best game as a pro last night. The only thing he did wrong was blow that open layup at the end, but this was th first game I’ve seen him play with confidence. His activity on defence was great.

Siakim I felt deserved more minutes last year. It’s good to see that he worked on his jumper (even if it is ugly—but it goes in). Siakim has crazy amounts of energy and is long and athletic. Plus he can make open jumpers now. We need to make space for him in the rotation. Other teams HATE playing against guys like him.

Goatganda the pearl of Africa
There was no need giving Ibaka that deal when you have his younger version in siakam

I said it before if you give poeltl Jonas minutes hed give you better input

The money they gave Powell is why he is starting, he doesn't mesh well with derozan and Lowry because all 3 are iso guys

Blow it up
