I am here to tell you entertainment news hot off the presses. I was in Halifax, Nova Scotia last week and apparently they are filming The Mist tv series up there. I know alot of brehs have seen the movie the Mist, which I thought was pretty good and had the most fukked up ending in movie history, but would y'all watch a tv series based on Stephen Kings book "The Mist"? :lupe:

Damn....my favorite short story from King. How the hell do you make that a mini series???

Easily, really. Could run for years ala "The Walking Dead".

The original story was open ended, remember? It could either follow David and his son looking for survivors or it would run parallel to their story. Plus it could be a lot better than "TWD" because there isn't a limit to the kinds of monsters they can use.

One of my favorite Stephen King books. They are clearly going for something along the lines of Walking Dead. Hopefully it isn't too drawn out.

Is the short story good? I like Stephen King books, I loved Misery and was half way through the Shining when I got really busy in my life. Might pick it up again.

Yeah man, definitely. It's not a full novel either, so it's not a big ass time investment like "The Shining". It's in a Stephen King short story compilation called "Skeleton Crew". There's a lot of classic stories in there.

I want The Jaunt. We already had a movie for The Mist.

They really need to do "The Jaunt" but something like "The Mist" could be fukking dope as a series, unless they fukk it up. I need to see who the show runner is.

Oh man I'm so hyped at the idea of this. Although the movie wrapped things up in a nice yet oh so fukked up way (:ohlawd:), the book was so open ended. There is no escape, because you opened up a thinny into todash space. The series gonna be so ill man, the possible connections to the dark tower series. :banderas:

That ending really fukked me up... and yall want me to go through that every week?..... :martin:
The ending was not from the short story.

But the ending was fukking amazing. It's very rare a studio has the balls to go through with a gut punch downer of an ending.
