A rapper's career isn't over unless they no longer have any fans checking for em whatsoever....meaning that they couldn't even make tour money. Just because someone falls out of mainstream fame doesn't mean that they're finished by any means...

EDIT: Yeah...Fell off is more like it.

People hate to admit it, but Snoop has BEEN done. He'll occasionally drop something nice, but it's forgettable. Tell me what old Snoop would have said/done to new Snoop walking through Long Beach.

He took the idea of the come up to the next level. He had his one moment in the sun in the early 90s and he's been having fun ever since and doing just enough to skate by :manny:

No excuse for the music you do to be garbage :upsetfavre:

EXACTLY. Seriously, it's like after Doggystyle, the man ENTIRELY changed everything about his music. There was a TRACE of the old Snoop in the Doggfather, but it was nearly non-existent. And since then, no trace.

I understand that anyone wants to come-up, but at the complete sacrifice of what you used to be? At the complete sacrifice of your music that defined you, that defined an entire era?

How do you go from, "Holla'n 1-8-7 with my dikk ya mouth, biatch"...to being in a video with some high-pitch-voice skateboarder from Virginia singing "Beatifuuul...I just want you to knoooww...you're my favorite girrrrl"???

Jay-Z's official moment was him simping Beyonce on that Usher song. Maybe the only Jay-Z song I never downloaded.

How do you go from a borderline pimpin rapper to "I love you baby!!" like 3 times in a verse
