The most disrespected hero/protagonist in a video game??

Was reading about Mortal Kombat and a thought ran through my head, Liu Kang was the hero from MK 1-4. He was your cookie cutter fighting game protagonist... defeat the bad guy, win the tournament.

Then he was unceremoniously killed in Deadly Alliance.
Raised as Raiden's personal zombie minion in Deception.

.....only for him to die again in the reboot.



Then that brings me to Kazuya Mishima of Tekken.

Typical fighting game hero with secret devil powers, defeated his evil father in the first Tekken. One would think he would be the face of the franchise after that....

Turned evil in Tekken 2, only to be defeated and thrown into the bushes volcano by Heihachi.
Returns in Tekken 4, only to be defeated by Heihachi again then caught the beats at the hands of new Tekken poster boy Jin.

If you seen the Tekken CGI movie that came with TTT1 HD, he caught the beats by Heihachi again, only to get defeated by Jin in their final battle.


Anyway, who do yall think gets disrespected the most in video games (outside of Johnny Cage )

Dude had his chick on some "these hoes ain't loyal". She was getting smutted out by the Koopas for a minute and as soon as someone layed hands on her...she's calling him and he needs to rescue her.


I'm sure numerous times, Luigi almost punched his brother in the face and trheatened a force selling of the plumbing business because Mario was wasting resources but most importantly risking their lives to save this chick...
