United Nations Global Compact - Wikipedia

"Some critics believe that without any effective monitoring and enforcement provisions, the Global Compact fails to hold corporations accountable.[28] Moreover, these critics argue that companies could potentially misuse the Global Compact as a public relations instrument for "bluewash".[29] Bluewashing refers to the alleged practice of companies claiming their membership or participation in philanthropic and charity based activity as an excuse, and perhaps as an entry door to increase corporate influence upon international organizations.[30] An informal network previously known as Global Compact Critics leveled a variety of criticisms at the Global Compact, citing a lack of mechanisms for sanctioning non compliance or lack of progress. The Global Compact critics formally disbanded in February 2015, recommending that interested parties consult the Centre for Research on Multinational Corporations (SOMO) website.[31] Similarly, the Alliance for a Corporate-Free UN, which also no longer exists, was a campaigning organization of several international NGOs, led by Corpwatch, which highlighted weaknesses in the principles underlying the Global Compact. The Global Compact was criticized by Maude Barlow, senior adviser on water issues to the President of the United Nations General Assembly in December 2008, accused the Global Compact of bluewashing.[32] David Andrews, senior adviser on Food Policy and Sustainable Development,[33] and Peter Utting, deputy director of UNRISD.[34] Leaders of the tribe Ayoreo Indians in Paraguay wrote to the UN Global Compact saying they are "concerned and frustrated" by the inclusion in it of a controversial Brazilian ranching company. The company, Yaguarete Porá, was charged and fined for illegally clearing the Ayoreo's forests, and concealing evidence of uncontacted Ayoreo living there. The Ayoreo asked that it be expelled from the Global Compact."

Anyone else see the parallels here with the new Paris agreement that was supported by the top,ten oil producing companies?

Nestle definitely deserves that rep for what they did.

But they have a lot of competition.

Monsanto is definitely up there.

The World vs. Monsanto: A Short History of the Battle Against the Most Evil Corporation on the Planet

Dupont is responsible for this, which has killed thousands of people and they legit barely care:

And Dow Chemical is responsible for this, which killed thousands of people and they legit barely care:

And now they're merging together into this.

Dow and DuPont Have Won U.S. Antitrust Approval to Merge

Then you have to think about all the defense contractors who basically encourage countries to go to war with each other and have arms races to drive up profits. I don't know who the worst arms dealers and defense contractors are, but I bet there are some bad ones.

Then all the financiers who are funding the wars, and also destroying the world with an interest-based system that just keeps funneling money to the rich at the expense of everyone else, and the future.

Then you have the private prison system.

And I know I'm forgetting others.

Bayer. They financed Hitler's campaign and manufactured the chemicals used in the gas chambers of the death camps, knowing the intended purpose of said chemicals. They were the weapons supplier for the holocaust basically.

50/50 joint venture targeting IBD, NAFLD
  • by MedPage Today StaffJuly 11, 2017
Nestlé Health Sciences is partnering with French firm Enterome SA to develop microbiome-based diagnostics for inflammatory bowel and liver diseases, according to a company press release.

A 50-50 joint venture established by the firms, Microbiome Diagnostics Partners, will incorporate two of Enterome's proprietary biomarkers: IBD110 for tracking mucosal healing and MET210 for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and steatohepatitis.

Another Nestle subsidiary, Prometheus Laboratories, will contribute additional serum-based biomarkers, the release said.

Nestle will invest €20 million (about $23 million) for its 50% stake and will receive exclusive commercialization options on initial results.

IG Farben, actually. Bayer was a component company that merged with a few other chemical/dye companies to produce what some call the most "evil company in history." Bayer exists today because IG Farben was forced to break up after the war.
