South Carolina...........

Even UGA beat them

no doubt. But look at OSU last year losing to Va Tech. See how fast that was Cuban B'd.

If UNC upsets Clemson, I think they should get in. If UNC was FSU or shyt, even GT, this wouldn't be a convo. They'd get in.

If I still gambled I'd bet on a straight up UNC upset. I've always said Clemson and Georgia for some reason will never get over the hump...

Not comparable when you look at who OSU destroyed to end the season last year.

I can't tell you that you are wrong. That's just how I see it. They also haven't beaten anybody moth much of pulse

I agree that the only quality win they have is really Pitt. But beating Clemson could be a game changer for them.

he is wrong. That fatherless idiot is comparing an ohio state team that had a CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME pending (translation: an opportunity to make another statement) last year to a team that DOESN'T (translation: no opportunity), this year. He's dumb as rocks, plain and simple.

What Statement is Stanford going to make? By beating USC?

NorthWestern is like 6th best team in Big 10 (got a gift from the refs vs Wisconsin last week) and your caping like it's good loss and on Top of that you lost to Oregon.

Ohio State made a statement, they beat a really good team in there building by 30. That same team who beat the breaks off NW.

Iowa loses and a two loss team should leap them? Iowa beat NW by 30.

If UNC beats the #1 team, they should jump from 10 to 4. All losses are bad losses.

Is this welfare cheat serious? Oregon won 9 games this year. NW won 10. South Carolina won three.

Wrong, all losses are not the same. If they were all weighed equally as "bad losses" then ND would not be in playoff contention up till this week. That loss to Clemson was considered a "quality loss" to the committee.

A p5 conference championship game loser will NEVER rank higher than a p5 conference championship game winner. You are out of your mind to even throw that out as a viable counter-argument

I am well aware of what he was talking about, but UNC lost to a 3 win team.

This article outlines what UNC needed to make the playoffs:

The official Week 13 rooting guide for North Carolina fans

Notre Dame losing to Stanford coupled with Illinois losing to NW pretty much killed any shot they had. Then you consider Miami beating Pitt, Oklahoma beating Ok St, Baylor losing to TCU, and Nebraska losing to Iowa on top of that. Plus Clemson looked incredibly shaky in its win over South Carolina, which lessens Clemson's overall perception too. Paging @Big Boss
