Yet---Multiple scientifically rigorously performed studies which have a found a damn near definitive link to autism and father's age continue to be ignored by the General public. It's almost always dismissed as "laughable" or " ridiculous".
I believe this is a symptom of the pervasive and degenerate spread of the one the grand tenets of modern liberalism--the blind faith of tubula rasa. Anything that challenges tabula rasa will be met with the same dismissive giggle that 18th century Christians used to scoff at the non-believers.
It is belief that has no basis in scientific fact, and it fuels non-sensical common notions such as: humans stopped evolving 100k years ago, homosexually is choice, all differences in ability and temperament are caused by hidden cultural norms and pressures, Autism is caused by vaccinations, obesity is caused by volition, and helicopter parenting is somehow beneficial to children.
