I came into the thread to say Jay Electronica but I also just thought about Lloyd Banks. He should have had all of the same success as Game. was it his work ethic? personality? Beat selection? Marketability? what happened? His mixtapes and first album were good but nothing really popped given the access and exposure he had.

Capone was the first name that came to mind. Dude had back to back albums that the Source rated 2 1/2. Mind you..we were waiting for his debit....but it was so bad that we forgot we were waiting for it.
