because she spent the last 2 years spewing half conspiracies and implying that Mueller was gonna save American democracy or some shyt by taking down the trump empire. now the goalposts have been moved to the SDNY and we all know that's gonna be a dud too when it's white collar crime slaps on the wrist.
my parents spent a lot of their free time the last year terminally online, watching hours of Maddow about this shyt and genuinely thinking mueller was a savior coming in to stop Russia. I can only imagine their disappointment when I talk to them later lol

Make no mistake though Trump at the very least should be thrown out of office for all of the shyt uncovered during this probe, HOWEVER, anyone expecting any major political fallout from this is going to be sorely disappointed. The most damaging items will likely never see the light of day and what does leak out will not change any MAGA minds. Just another scandal that Trump will inexplicably survive that he shouldn't.

Mueller was running the FBI while they shyt all over civil liberties and put people away with shytty science like "hair matching". He's not going to do something that will meaningfully harm America's existing power structures.

It's always been a catch 22 for this investigation. The type of shyt needed to get him out of office would be too damaging to America's global standing to be released but anything less than that is a flop.

If anything this is just to make sure it's not allowed to happen again. People had to be punished but the Orange Goblin was never in any real danger because he has no shame or morals. This is how he powers through every scandal.

With regards to collusion, I think it helped Trump that Dems/Libs hung their hats on an extremely high bar. They didn't just say he was a garden variety scumbag who lies, cheats, evades taxes or whatever. They turned him into a Manchurian candidate. That's an extraordinary claim, and those require extraordinary evidence. To a lot of people anything other than collusion is going to be met with a "meh".
