"Mick Gordon is the new Composer for Killer Instinct, and has really outdone himself with the music for the upcoming game. At PAX Australia, KI fans were treated with a few audio samples of Character themes, the iconic theme song, and the versus screen music. Fans got an insight of what its like to compose music for Double Helix, and how Mick came to create the unique theme music for the characters. What was really awesome though, was that Mick recorded shouts, grunts and howls made by the audience, which will feature in the music of the new Killer Instinct.

The music for the first Killer Instinct was very iconic, Mick wanted to recreate the original theme, focusing on the key sounds and features that made it iconic, like its eerie sounding intro, to the guitar solos. He used the intro guitar riff as an example, and how by decreasing the tempo and highlighting the guitar, made the theme sound more aggressive. He also showed Maximilian’s reaction video to the E3 Killer Instinct announcement, explaining how he wanted the theme song to be quickly recognised."

Xbox One Playing floor titles:

"This year’s Comic-Con is the first chance for the general public to get their sweaty mitts on the new Xbox One in advance of its release this November. Microsoft has taken over a huge second floor ballroom at the Manchester Grand Hyatt nearby the San Diego Convention Center, and the results look pretty impressive. To the left, they have multiple Xbox One consoles running a handful of launch window titles, while the right side of the room is reserved for upcoming releases on the retiring Xbox 360."

So much for the X1 games running on PC's with titans in them.

KI always had piff music (remember Killer Cuts?)

This KI is looking good in that department as well.

All I need is that Orchid reveal and the info on the TE 2 arcade stick (the stick seen at the E3 press confrence. Don't know why Mad Catz didn't discuss it at EVO, but we'll get more info)

This game prob will be one of the first purchases for my X1

That stick looks nice

Hopefully it will retail for the same price the current TEs are priced at ($150) since the parts in them are mostly the same as current TEs (all Mad Catz TEs use Sanwa parts in them)

Wonder who the next reveal is

I remember seeing his teaser during the EVO presentation, wonder how they'll bring him in to the next gen with his design

As of right now the roster looks like

Jago
Thunder
Saberwulf
Glacius

I wonder if they'll bring back any Killer Instinct 2 characters

What did you think? Was it as fun as it looks?

yeah how was it?
It was fun, but I only played one match. I really didn't know how to play I was just jumping and hitting I got a couple combos in but nothing over 15. Its going to take some time to learn how to play, but I'm going to buy it. I would say it wasn't as fun as it looked because there were no combo breaker or super combos it will take real skills to do what we see in the video. Once learned I think it will be really great

Yeah it was cool the game was in the back corner but people would stop and watch, I would hear man this looks cool, I seen this white lady walk past and got all excited and pointed to the sign with her boyfriend when I looked at the sign, she was like oh I used to have this on nintendo, I think the more people see it the more people want it, not saying it will be a system seller, but I think it could be.
