I think this applies the the UK Brittish white folk. And theyre the ones who mainly settled here right?

Noone hypes up fish and chips just like noone goes crazy about meatloaf and gravy. Go the UK, and youll probably spend most of your time eating international food. The U.S has knock off versions of tastier Euro foods Italian, german, etc. or they co-opted their cultural foods with black folks.

There was this potluck at my job one year and I saw this white dude in the break room bring in a crock pot and put a bunch of raw drumsticks in it

Me: what you about to make?

Him: siracha chicken

Then I saw him dump a bottle of siracha sauce on the chicken turn on the crockpot and leave. No seasonings or nothing. At the potluck NOBODY ate that shyt and he got upset everybody was eating the Popeyes somebody else brought in. Matter fact when the Popeyes ran out somebody went out to make another run
