courting her as a candidate was never "VOTE DEMOCRAT DOWN BALLOT". Williamson came to our doorstep as ADOS because we STOPPED (at least for the moment) blindly supporting democrats. THEY CAME RUNNING BACK AND LISTENING FOR ONCE, BECAUSE WE SPOKE AS AN ETHNICITY/LINEAGE. How do yall not understand this? shyt GOT DONE ONCE DEMANDED shyt AND THREATENED TO TAKE OUR VOTES COMPLETELY OFF THE BALLOTS ALL TOGETHER as one gigantic ethnicity.

now we are back to blindly voting democrat and being churchfolk. We are back to square one. :gucci:

The bolded I agreed with. That's exactly what happened. However, Yvette has been connected with the Democrats and churches before. And never really severed those ties.

The black church has done more harm than good, imo. We’re still mentally enslaved because of it.
Nah, its because people just want to find excuses to not improve themselves. I heard people say that, only for them to be slaves to Islam or Panafricanism.

"Down Ballot example"

is your state like mine where in order to vote you have to register with a poltical party? Dem, Repub Or Independent.
If you register Dem and all the candidates suck you can't just vote for in a Republican Primary. Also in a state like Ohio you will literally lose the right to vote and be removed from the voter registration roll if you don't vote at all because of a recent Supreme Court ruling.

Also if you show up and to the voter booth and write in a candidate like "ADOS" "FBA" "Lil Wayne" etc. the election result will show how many people voted for a write in candidate instead of the real candidate. Kind of like a protest vote.

Since most blacks register Demorat when they vote that is the example that is used by Carnell and Tone.

They have been literally saying as loud as they can show up by leave the ballot plank for a Democratic Presidential candidate if they dont have black agenda or reparations on their platform.

There is general election
And this thing called a Demoratic Primary.
And a Republican Primary election .

These elections select which candidate each party will run for the office President.

Also on these ballot forms depending on the year may have a congressman to select etc.

Locally if your Governer her is running and for example and he gave 300K felons the right to vote and gave free health care to 500K in your state you might but the Presidential Canidate sucks then leave the Presidential Canidate blank and vote for the Gov if you want to.

Some of yall are some scary people. Don't you think the same people who made up ADOS chapters, and have been following Yvette & Tone over the years, are the same people who can also steer the direction things are going?

I think some of yall are scared because you are just comparing it to the past not realizing ADOS followers who are serious tend to be more into educating themselves on politics as opposed to people who just go to church, and follow whats being said, back in the day. The thing is you need those people as well. I'm not into the church, but I know one thing, I always hear all these conscious community, Panafricnaist, and "I read tons of books, I know whats good for you" types, talk down on the church, but NONE of them helped people in the hood like the church.

I seen people on drugs get help from the church, people need help with bills get help from the church. Meanwhile the other groups just talk. NOI helped people, but you have to be a part of them to get help. If most black people are part of the church, why not use them to gain traction? Some of yall have too much damn fear. Keep acting like that, and YOU will be the next Tariq Nasheed, paranoid about so much shyt nothing gets done, except for yourself. I would be worried if this were most other groups. ADOS followers has shown me they are about their business, and call out bullshyt, so I have no worries about the church joining in. The truth is a lot of people just have hate for religion, and that is why they are mad, I don't understand why people have so much hate for the black church like that

i think people are just tired of the pimps in the pulpit and the Prosperity Preachers so any affiliation with the church will have people skeptical.

Tone spoke to all the campaigns trying to get them to come to the conference.

Just like twitter and on the campaign trail, we want to constantly get them on record about reparations and a black agenda. When you go the polls, you just don't write in or vote down-ballot, you speak to the media, you engage other voters. You show them that you're engaged and/or actively dissenting. They can't shame "Cousin Pookie" like Obama said if Cousin Pookie shows up and lets them know it's "none of the above". They are not going to think we are serious if we don't get counted as having shown up.

I get that, but some people go too far with it. It was like this in the late 80's. Had me following Islam, and Panfricanism, only to see how full of shyt they were too. The difference is the church was the ones who was helping people, them other guys just wanted to act like they were better then everyone who was a chirstian. I still listened to them for some knowledge, but as people, them nikkas was full of shyt.

When my uncle was hooked on crack, the church helped him. When people I knew needed help to pay their bills, the church helped them. When young people I knew wanted to not be in the streets, they had the church to go to, and play some sports. And I'm talking about regular church, not these mega churches who just talk about getting money. That's why i could never straight up dis the church, only argue it could do better.
