Cavs Fans all year: "Adam Silver and the NBA plays favorites with Golden State, and Steph is their Golden Boy because light-skinned nikkas who come from two-parent households and come from NBA fathers are more marketeable than a dark-skinned brother who was raised by a single mother and is pro-Black."

And you wanna talk about discredit.....

:camby:

Here you guys go again obsessing about race. You need serious help

A lot of ya'll just use fouls as an excuse, when most of the fouls are legitimate calls and if they weren't called would have you freaking out about that too

None of this would be an issue if the officiating was consistent but it's not.

And that's why Silver said "fukk you" to removing the 2 Minute Review because he knows he's not trying to take the fall for these dumb dumbs screwing up calls.

It's the year 2016, we got slow mo, fast mo, under mo, over mo, Mo Williams, Mo Better Blues, Gotta go to Mo (Gotta go to Modells!) we got everything.

An animated gif of a refs clear and obvious fukk up will be on the internets and seen all around the world within 5 minutes of the fukk up.

If they don't want this level of scrutiny, they need to make sure they get these calls right and figure out if it's 1996 or 2016 because during the Finals alone it seems like we've hopped back and forth between two different eras of officiating.

Spurs over Pistons in 2005
Lakers over Celtics in 2010
Heat over Spurs in 2013

Home teams all won.

No way the NBA would've wanted that Spurs-Pistons series going 7.

People underestimate just how much money rules the world. Anything is possible.

To say that there's not even a slight chance that the NBA sometimes shifts the outcomes of game to extend series and make more money in the process, is asinine.

Money is everything. Who knows how much extra revenue is brought in when a series of this caliber goes 7 games instead of 5.

Especially on one end when you have the polarizing, 13 year vet, who's widely recognized as the best player in the world, who's fresh off losing to this very team last year with an undermanned cast. Going up against the future face of the league fresh off his 73 win season, unanimous MVP, 400 3s etc.

Money IS everything. 2 extra games? More sold Merch, advertisement money, tickets going up, dozens of plots and subplots sorrounding the series. Added coverage? I wouldn't put it past any league. It's a business first and business is about money. Game 7 is way more profitable than game 5.

Setting up a rubber match in 2017 is also very profitable. As is the storyline of "Can the King finally overcome the Warriors" in case they lose again.

If handled correctly this could be Celtics-Lakers of our time. Which means $$$$$$

I know we all like to believe that everything is fair and honest, but it is a business. So while I can't say that it's rigged, I'm at the same time not going to rule it out.
