Are people actually watching first take. You go to any Fridays Applebee's or any restaurant on your lunch break and first take is on TV at the bar but nobody is watching.

That alone will inflate numbers but nobody is watching

You go to any sort of waiting room and there are only 3 options, First Take, Fox News, or HGTV.

Personally I like hearing Antonio Daniel’s discuss the game on Sirius. But he on midday for a reason and nobody been beating down his doors to make the big boy jump.

People want to hear Stephen A, people want to hear Perk, people want to hear Barkley, it is what it is.
