To the Netherlands. If you want to speak your home language, stay at home. If you immigrate to another country then you learn their language and culture. I immigrated to the US when I was 6 years old. Started learning the language when I was 5. Same with my parents. Same with my grandparents. Its my biggest pet peeve with new immigrants. They make no efforts to assimilate and learn the language of the locals.

i don't support laws of this nature because they're often the first step towards severe xenophobic laws.

but i also don't understand why immigrants wouldn't at least try to learn the language of the country they live. fluency and accent-free second languages should not be expected, but communicative skills should be.

Funnily enough they all speak English in Holland, but I respect what they doing. I work with a lot of Latinos, and it annoys me how too many off them, make no effort to learn English.

I can't stand seeing signs at government facilities in Spanish, fukk em make em learn the fukking language.

bu bu bu bu but there is money to be made. You have to bend over backwards and cater to them. They are under stress and they can't learn English properly and you have to do this to survive
