This period in Southern hip hop was the culminating sound that took over everything...

it all started when No Limit Records ignored the demo tape for Pastor Troy, so he recorded the groundbreaking "No Mo Play N GA"

Sure, you had Ghetto Mafia making local noise, but when Troy dropped this record, it shocked the nation and he brought along a few dudes like Killer Mike, TIP, YoungBloodz, BoneCrusher, David Banner, Lil Flip, Ludacris, Big Oomp Records, Dirty, Lil Jon and Eastside Boyz, Bubba Sparxxx, Ying Yang Twins (unfortunately :trash:)

This first wave of New South changed hip hop and they deserve their props for taking Southern hip hop to an international level outside of the Dungeon Family, No Limit, and Rap-A-Lot

Pay your respects and post records from this powerful movement
