What makes the new map trash breh? I updated but haven't had the chance to play yet.
a lot of trees and open space. hard af to see enemies on the map. most of the game you're running uphill
verdanks wad 100000 times better even with the hackers
I miss rebirth
I don’t mind the trees. It makes for interesting gameplay being able to quickly break sight lines. In a game with such a fast time to kill it’s a welcome addition in my opinion.
What bothers me most about the map itself is the poor verticality of it. It’s near impossible to tell what you can climb and with a map that has so many rocks/cliffs it’s frustrating trying pointlessly to climb something that would seem climbable while you’re getting shot. hoofing it up the main mountain is a joke and sets you up for immediate masacre.
I don’t get where the outrage is about the skins though. I seem to be the only person pissed that none of the previous character skins are useable anymore in the main playlist. They have a separate playlist for all the old guns and skins but it’s locked to quads only and from the looks of it, that might very likely be a temporary mode like rebirth. I don’t get how people are cool with them pretty much making the last year or whatever of purchases unusable/obsolete. I’m still using day one skins in fortnite.

Yes. The bombing noises sound EXACTLY like footsteps above you or from a neighboring building.

Also, bloom is a real thing now and has no place in a competitive shooter. Sniping at mid to long range is a joke. Bullets go where ever they please with no bearing on where my cross hairs are.

Instead of bullets going where the crosshair is, there is a chance that it will go anywhere around it depending on the level of bloom in the game. And that is on top of whatever recoil the gun has. And that's only for the Vanguard guns.
They said that they will tone down the bloom as they balance the guns and eventually it will be gone but still.
Exactly. Fortnite has it on certain guns and it forces you to use certain guns in very close quarters only. From what I understand, the new battlefield game is plagued with it.
