There shouldn't be franchise tags. And u definitely shouldn't be allowed to use it more than once if u have it.

I remember that. Don't remember who it was, but the nfl load those things w/ crazy incentives.

Happens all the time.

I believe last year my Steelers did a version of that with Brandon Boykins. Got him in a trade from philly. Secondary is our weak spot. Boykins was a god send.


The Steelers barely played his ass the first half of the season. meanwhile we were getting TORCHED! Antwan Blake had to be the worst starting corner in the league. We only played Brandon on special teams.

FINALLY the last quarter of the season they decide to add him to the rotation. IMMEDIATELY he gets a int and makes a contribution.

Come to find out later that if he got a certain number of snaps last year we would have had to give philly a higher draft pick.
