A lot of them are straight lying to themselves by doing some wishful thinking.

Like I said earlier in this thread. There should be way more games announced for this thing. Games get announced for the X1 and PS4 every week.
Its called a soft launch, games will start hitting this fall

Try using a cell phone 3 days without power. Landlines have their uses and advantages.

My PS4 isn't portable and I don't hate it for that fact. At this point the Wii U is still the better system than the Switch especially when you consider that the Switch's best games are Wii U games.

The same ones who were saying the Switch was gonna flop before release is now complaining about games. I guess after those sales they need something new to hate on lol.

For me the Switch is the console I always wanted Nintendo to make. I no longer have the time to sit in front of a TV to play games, which is why my phone and iPad became my gaming console. I recently flew to Australia, New Zealand and Japan and played Zelda a great deal on those flights. There is no way I personally could ever go back to just gaming in front of a TV.

Nintendo made the correct decision in creating a hybrid console, it separates them from the competition. But most importantly, the mobile area is moving so fast that its almost to the speed of PCs. The new Nvidia chips in the mobile space are pushing the limits. With future upgrades to the system with their partnership with Nvidia being a weak system spec wise won't always be associated with the console.

However, it also needs to be stated that the majority of gamers are not hardcore gamers, nor do the majority who purchase consoles know much about specs or even care much about them. The Switch was created to go after mobile gamers which is currently a huge market.

Developers are about sales, where ever sells are is where they will go. The Wii selling over 100 million and lacking 3rd party developers is not a logical statement due to the fact that Nintendo former policy shunned the indies, while making the system very difficult to code for. The Switch is different.

The Switch has only been out 2 months... Y'all said after the first month we will see what the system does... well we are in the 3rd month and its selling like crazy.

Nintendo just released the best rated game of this generation... Watch how it ages compared to those graphic intensive games that y'all view the Switch as inferior for due to their absence on the platform. Anybody who is an art major know what I'm talking about lol.

I don't think console sales are the problem. Even when Nintendo had the best selling console on the market two generations ago they still weren't getting the full level of respect from 3rd parties that Microsoft and Sony got.

The Switch in order for it to break the problems of the Wii family of consoles has to get that level of respect from 3rd party developers. That happening remains to be seen. We probably won't see that until starting in 2018 at E3 when the next batch of high profile games gets announced.

I've bought every Nintendo home console (excluding the Virtual Boy) from the SNES to the Switch at launch and I still own all of those consoles now except the Gamecube which I sold but my Wii plays Gamecube games. I've been with Nintendo a while. Long enough to know that 2-3 months in one of their consoles selling well doesn't mean that much for the overall quality of it's library. Nintendo has had third party issues dating back to the N64 over 20 years. 3 months of Switch sales don't mean that much in comparison.

Nintendo didn't get 3rd party console support dating back to the N64 was due to the way the system of those consoles were structured. This is well documented. Nintendo has always done what they wanted to do. 3rd party support back then was not due to companies not wanting their software on the system, Nintendo has always been difficult to code for dating back to the N64. Not only that but simultaneously they created a system which was also anti-indie.

That is no longer the case with the Switch; the Switch is no more difficult to code for than the PS4 or Xbox. The only thing 3rd party developers can say is that its under powered; however, if developers really want the Nintendo audience they can develop versions for the Switch.

Nintendo is a company that does what it wants to do, they don't even listen to their shareholders. However, what they did do this time around was lessen up on their restrictions, while creating tools to make the Switch easy to develop for.

Outside Xenoblade and Mario this year I'm mostly lukewarm on this lineup. Many of these are standard issue ports. I never tried Splatoon even though I bought it so I might try 2. Maybe Disgaea 5 but I beat that on the 4 already.

ARMS/Splatoon2/FE/Snipper Clips/FastRMX/PuyoPuyo/Yooka Laylee/Sonic Mania and Sonic 2017/Lego City(not even sure tbh)/RIME/DQ/SMT/Pokemon(rumored) are all ports? Some these don't have official dates, but they're announced, and are titles for the Switch, that's about over 10 titles before E3.

And you bought a game and never tried it? Do you still have your Wii U? If so, the game is still popping like the day it came out.

Feels like a lot of people just want to see all those other games just say "for Xbox/PS/PC/Switch"

I for one, am happy to see games like DB xenoverse 2 ending up on the Switch. Hopefully this means some other Bandai fighting games like Naruto end up on it too.

Nintendo could legit release 4 10/10 exclusives in year one of launch and people still don't see a reason to purchase one.:dahell:

Sony might have 4 8/10 exclusives in the last 3 years and people knocking themselves out with that system.

Japan loves nintendo and mobile gaming.

Your crazy if you don't think this system is going to stay on fire.

Complaining about a lack of games 3 months after release seems crazy to me, especially when you got a 10/10 game on launch day.

But its always something, soon nintendo is going to be the system for easy of use, sony for diversity and xbox for graphical prowess
