i speak facts not emotions
making this thread for dudes that don't know what ceartian things in rap are
and is trying to learn them.
1st lesson rhyme
you have probably know this already but basically rhyme is something where u take one syllable
and find something else that sounds either exactly like it or similar to it.
example cat hat = exact
cap cat = similar
also things can rhyme exactly or perfectly
or be imperfectly or be similar.
like my example above ^^
cat and hat rhyme exactly meaning they technically rhyme with each other
cap and hat don't technically rhyme at all a exact rhyme for cap would be tap and a exact rhyme for hat would be cat but they sound similar so they work.
2. multi-syllable rhyming
more then one syllable rhyming means exactly what it says more then one syllable rhyming
example of one syllable rhyming
time fled hat /
in blue rat /
in the first example only hat and rat rhyme
in my second example is is a example of a multi-syllable rhyme
time head hat /
rhyme shed cat /
in this example not only do hat and cat rhyme but head and shed rhyme so does time with rhyme.
3rd lesson rhyme scheme rhyme.
rhyme pattern is just the way u rhyme the syllables
there are my different varations of rhyme patterns
basically when displaying u use letters to indicate which syllables rhyme with what like this
Bid me to weep, and I will (A) weep
While I have eyes to (B) see
And having none, yet I will (A) keep
A heart to weep for (B) thee.
this is a abab rhyme pattern
4th lesson metaphors wordplay punchlines
metaphor is basically the comparsion to something without using the word like.
5th lesson bpms - bpm the speed of a instrument
6th final lesson how to count bars in bar measures
and is trying to learn them.
