More reasons why pre-season rankings are dumb, destructive to school's perceptions, and lead to inconsistencies in the polls before the CFB rankings come out.

1. Clear one is UM should be higher ranked. They loss by 7 to a now top 10 team but are still #22. USC loses to a #18 Stanford team by 10 yet is ranked higher than UM because of the "talent" and once Heisman candidate Kessler. UM looks like a top 15 team as of yesterday yet they can't have them jump that much because they were unranked. no way Wisconsin should be ranked higher than UM nevertheless the other 1 loss schools outside of Bama. dumb

2. Arizona falls out of the rankings after losing to a now #7 UCLA team. Arizona is still legit and should still be a 20-25 team. Miss State loss to a team that struggled again Syracuse yday, yet they are still #21. I'd take AZ over Miss St

3. TCU was one catch away from losing their playoff hopes, but still are top 4 even after all the injuries they endured. If Oregon is so crap, then why is MSU still #2 after going to the wire with them? they haven't looked convincing in any of their others wins either.

How is Gameday going to Clemson/ND and not Bama/UGA

Both teams are undefeated...and the story is better per say [because we know ESPN loves fukkin stories to tell].

Clemson and ND haven't played since like 1977 with Joe Montana sneaking it in for the win and it was debated for years if he even got the ball across the goal line. Bama/UGA would have probably got the nod if Bama didn't lose to the Black Bears.

I'm trying to figure out how they dropped us down one spot. Yea I know it wasn't an impressive win but it would have been a blowout if it wasn't for the penalties. Syracuse scored some TD when the game was decided.

On the other hand, yu have an Ole Miss team still sitting pretty at #3 after struggling against a Vanderbilt team at home. Yu have TCU lucky to beat a Texas Tech team who wasn't even ranked.

Its cool though. Handle your business against Georgia by just 20+ and you can talk shyt. On the road, good team, etc. Handle your business, and stop whining, Nick saban Jr.

Nick Saban and Les Miles have been known for a long time to not run up the score on other teams.
