Diaz strikes again... I'm so giddy over having new ownership I ain't even mad... I've seen this movie before... LOL at the sheer disgust in Gary and Keith's voices....

That bottom of the 7th was an implosion...just a comedy of errors capped off by Diaz giving up another home run.

You got a double header, game is about to end at exactly 4:00, and a 5 run lead....
I'm glad this is a shortened season as it gives us another sample size to know Diaz ain't it...
If I were the manager I would hang him out to dry like Collins did to Dillon Gee....
He loses confidence so quickly, becomes chaotic on the mound, loses the strike zone, throws instead of pitches, just an overall head case out there.

I know some heads will point to the abnormality of the 2020 season as a whole as an excuse, and they have a point, but I am not impressed with Luis Rojas rookie season AT ALL.
He manages pretty soft, and seems to not have a clue quite often.
Why wouldn't you bunt with Rosario to lead off extras?
Why was Hughes pitching a 3rd straight game?
Why does he shy away from Drew Smith so damn often?
I wouldn't be mad one bit if he got fired after the season.
Edit: At least Terry, despite his fair share of stupid ass decision making, was known to tear into his players whenever he really needed to.
And Mickey despite being a clueless dumbass in his own right also showed some emotion from time to time.
Everytime something devastating happens this season, Rojas looks like he just wants to cover his face as much as possible with his mask, or gives some half ass hand gesture.
