ND won 10 straight to close it out. In a 17 team ACC, y'all didn't play either team who just played in the conference title game, of the 5 teams who were tied for the conference lead with y'all, you only played TWO and went 1-1. The teams y'all played after your second loss finished 10th (NCST), Syracuse (17th), Va Tech (15th), Pitt (4th). ND played 7 bowl eligible teams. Miami, 6.

Who was one of them bowl eligible teams they played?

What was the result? See how we keep coming back here? Because when we played the game, we beat them and honestly, controlled the game…we ended with the same record.

All that other stuff you talking don’t even make sense…yall coming with ALL KINDS of metrics and numbers and excuses. Two teams with same record to end the season. They played each other, it counted!

I honestly am not even tripping if we get in or not, but these BS arguments y’all using is wild to me.

The same NCST & Pitt teams y'all beat is one. Texas A&M. You guys. SoCal. Boise. Navy. I'm not coming with other metrics besides y'all lost the same number of games as they did. They lost to the current 7th and 12th ranked squads. Your L's came against schools that ain't even there....more recently. Those are the facts. My beef is with folks who acting like the bolded don't matter. It matters just as much as that week one dub y'all got, if not more due to recency and the what the resumes look like now that we have a complete picture.

Got two teams that finished the same but one lost to the other…they using all these metrics to cover up the fact that they even have ND over UM…nikkas said it was a week one loss…like it didn’t count smh lol…finding any and every argument except the most important

Winning the conference don't mean shyt as this committee has proven. it's why I say bring back the computers. All of this shyt is subjective. And even with the computers, they still have ND over Miami

i would even understand their argument if miami had bad losses but they dont they lost by 3 and then in OT i mean alabama lost by 14 to a team we beat wtf

H2H is a data point, not the entire resume. It matters most when the rest of the profiles are comparable. If H2H was absolute, then there would be no reason for rankings, and that ONE game would decide everything. They weren’t by season’s end. Week 1 results reflect teams at their least developed. The playoff evaluates who you became over 12–13 games, not who you were in September. Miami followed its big opener with uneven play and resume damaging losses. A September marquee win can’t cancel out October and November failures. The CFP has ALWAYS treated late season performance as more representative. Even with that one win in September, Miami hasn't sustained performance since unlike ND. But who cares? This shyt is all a charade anyway.
