It's interesting how these programs don't value bowl practices anymore.

Like, an unintended consequence of NIL and player movement is the programs themselves don't value coaching the players up after the season because they're ghost anyway....

Very surprising...I'd like to hear a coach comment on it. The bowl practices were always important, and seemed worthwhile even for the 6-6 type of bowls.

Very surprising...I'd like to hear a coach comment on it. The bowl practices were always important, and seemed worthwhile even for the 6-6 type of bowls.

You talk to most coaches they feel like they dont get enough time with the players as is, I think its just more the case the players getting money now and they have no incentive to play, really no upside. Its very short sighted because alot still got NFL dreams but gonna be working at enterprise getting crazy reality check..

Like Bowl games used to throw them a t shirt and mayyyybe a playstation.. straight scraps, even the bench warmer freshman getting 300k+++ now, they dont need a random trip to Orlando anymore.. I remember I was at a training session with my people before draft and he was talking about vacation for him and his girl.. Older retired nfl dude was like we was broke AF in college and didnt get first vacay til nfl 2nd season.. You got freshman buying they mom cars and such (yea might be fronted by agent and such but thats another story we can get into, college "agent" game is crazyyy but I guess its foot in door for a hustler if they got the right motive).. Keep your t shirt man, its christmas break and Im taking my fam on vacay before winter training..

Zia Combs (RIP) showed me bowl gifts once, I think one of the rose bowls. I remember it was gear like hoodie sets, backpacks, a watch that was like...not incredible, like a speaker or something, and i think some per deim but they got an iPod touch color when that bytch FIRST dropped. I filled it up with music for him.
