Prediction for A&M?

Hmm, I still want to rewatch A&M games to really get a feel.. Tldr: Its gonna be on the $4milli QB Beck lol.. We can keep the statue relatively clean in pocket against the #1 Sack team and #1 3rd down defense (best since 2016 Mich D) then we should be fine. One thing about Mario, he will go max protect 3 man, 2 man, 1 man, shiiiiit even no one running a route before he let a defense embarrass his oline.. Both teams have stellar veteran olines and havoc causing Dlines, so thats strength on strength.. Its a money game for both DEs and Tackles, first round talents on both sides..



But besides that I was surprised by Tamu defensive numbers, they can be run on and texas who struggles to run got over 200 but Manning made big plays with legs too.. They live by blitz and it works for them but they can be had some.. Our run game is decent but oline is much better pass blocking, but coming from Ward really had to strip down the offense for Beck, after 2nd loss, they switched it up and opened it up more, so its screens, spam the ball to Malachi, let Malichi cook, throw, run wildcat, and counter off that..

Tamu offense is legit and explosive but it seems but they got favorable SEC draw, struggled with texas after lighting everyone else up. Our Defense turned it around in one offseason, top 10 in most things, run defense is stout, probably top 8.. I thought our pass D would be stickier but we really try to limit explosives and force teams to drive on us, most college qbs arent able to, I think reed is talented enough to give us hell, especially if he get out of pocket and I seen Concepcion tear teams apart since his freshman year. Middle of our defense is weakness as we dont have the uber athletic LB types ready for primetime..

Actually went to tamu Mario first year I think, for some reason Mario usually can get his teams up for big games, its the mid games mid season he struggles with.. I got it 28-24 Miami right now..

People are saying Oklahoma running the November gauntlet was luck and that we got rematched against Bama b/c committee and sentiment is that our victory over them was lucky.

While simultaneously setting up the argument that IF we do beat them again, "well, Alabama is just not that good"

I think y'all did good with other dual threat QBs y'all faced this year? I can see y'all neutralizing that part of their game. I seen one of their Oline dudes was talkin' smacc about y'all guy Bain too. Should give them an extra chip on their shoulder. I like y'all boi, Scott too.

Most Qbs we did well with but Reed reminds me of souped up Kelly Jennings and that dude sat in pocket and cooked us for 365 or something crazy and he dont have near the weapons Reed got at all.. After that game DC been attacking most QBs more than just sitting back so that seem like adjustment that was needed..

Yea that olineman comments was funny, like I get being confident in your group (which he should because they have been really good) but it was a lil arrogant and unnecessary bulletin board ammo, we dont get that type of stuff anymore tho so I like it lol.. Scouts love Bain but Mesidor on other side been putting in work to shoot up draft boards too.. He actually been more productive than Bain but Bain get soo much attention..

Scott to me was dam near MVP of defense until he got hurt.. Dude was/is soo disruptive and such a weapon on the defense, one of most versatile nickles I ever seen, especially at his size. They ask him to set edge, blitz, take on blocks, cover slot, spy, and he does it ALL at high level. Him and Jakobe Thomas were MAJOR pickups in second portal window.. Changed our defense. Hopefully he is able to come back from injury, he the only one we missing come game time I think..
