It's nearly impossible for PSU to miss the playoffs with their schedule. If they can't go 10-2 then yes, he'll have one more year to get back with a hot ass seat.
@Whips-n-Chains ZERO pressure for Franklin? Really? Even by somewhat following the model of the last two champions by having seasoned players return, supplementing in the portal etc? Not to mention, whoever he decides as his DC which with the names Im seeing would add even more pressure.

He had his best year on paper. I guess there's some pressure, but zero pressure of getting fired or anything like that. There's pressure in that this is PSU's year to get over the hump with Drew back and an easier schedule. They played y'all pretty tough, Oregeon tough, and played ND pretty damn tough, and they had opportunities to win vs. y'all and ND.
Anything less than winning at least 1 playoff game will be a major disappointment. They're not winning the conference tho.
I have no idea how people actually watched Carson Beck play and STILL thought that he was a top QB. shyt is Insane.

Mfs is so split on bro fr. Ward too. It's either potential to be great with the right coach or absolutely horrible prospects.
Ain't no in between it seems like. I've seen some "former scouts" crash out bad on on social media dissecting tape from both.
And granted, what he was showing was horrible but it's easy to cherry pick just like you can only go find the good plays/throws if you want too.
