LSU has beat no one and is ranked and now they're Vandy's signature win. Same as how Oregon's signature win is beating a clearly overrated PSU team, and IU's signature win is based on Oregon being ranked high based on the PSU win.

Bama has a better win than OSU, but they also have an UGLY loss and OSU is undefeated... Not to mention y'all gonna see that it's better to take an L or two in the season to avoid the meaningless Conf Title Game + 5.5 week layoff (look at UGA & Oregon last year)

edit: Not to mention OSU is defending champs, so they're owed the benefit of the doubt b/c they've proven they can win it all and they're undefeated still.

I'd agree that top to bottom the SEC is better than the B1G rn, but would that matter if OSU wins it all again?

What eye test has Oregon passed?

They lost at home to the best team they faced.

To play devil's advocate, what eye test has LSU or Ole Miss passed? Why is texas ranked?

PSU on the road at that point was a good win...they became completely unraveled after the loss. I do think Oregon & IU have the best road wins this season. Bama's best win is at home (edit: Bama won in Athens), UGA's best win is at home, OSU's best win is at home.

I do think Bama would beat IU, but is being ranked #4 with 1-loss while IU is #2 & undefeated really a big deal? 12 teams getting in, so it's not like it's all y'all competing for 4 spots anymore. BCS era, I'd understand more about your issue more... You're better off being #3 in the sec, having IU win the B1G and then playing them after a they've been chillin for 5 weeks.
